Children's storytelling room

The children’s storytelling area features an image of 20 Whooping Cranes being led on their migration by an ultralight plane. They are shown as silhouettes filled with a tessellated pattern of the origami crane. The central panel in front of the folding counter shows 64 still images of the process of folding an origami Crane. It serves as a photographic, temporal companion to the more explicit instruction sheets of how to fold a paper crane, and to the pieces of paper laminated between glass in the lobby circle, each of which reveals
something about the origami crane in a different way.
